My Lucky Charms

Just thought I'd include a couple of goofy pics of the kiddos on St. Patrick's Day!

Karson didn't seem too happy with his super cute lucky charm outfit,

but Kennedy sure loved her green sparkly crown that Gramma bought her!

Spring Break

We took Kennedy to the annual livestock show and she had so much fun!
She loved the carnival and really enjoyed seeing the animals.
She rode the little roller coaster three times in a row and wanted to ride it a fourth time.
Karson got to stay with Gramma for his first babysitting experience! It will be so much fun when he is old enough to go ride the rides with Kennedy!

Isn't he cute!

Wow, where has the time gone? I can't believe that Karson will be three weeks old tomorrow!
I already feel that he is growing up so fast. I thought I would post some new pics of the growing boy!
Life with two children is definitely CRAZY to say the least! We are finally getting nights and days straightened out so I feel that I am getting a little more quality sleep. I had forgotten how demanding breastfeeding is and feel like that is all that I do. I can't complain though, sometimes it seems like that is the only time that I can hold him. Where do all of the hours in the day go? I feel like by the time I get out of bed, get all of us dressed and fed, that the day is almost over! I keep saying that I will get my life (and children) on a schedule, but it hasn't happened yet. I keep hoping one of these days I'll get it figured out! I desperately need Supernanny in our house!!!!

He's Here and we are Home!

Just wanted to introduce everyone to our new son!

Karson Lane Dyer was born on Tuesday, February 26 at 9:00am.
He weighed 7lb 8oz and was 19 3/4 inches long.
Everything went very well and mom and baby are both doing great!
Just trying to get nights and days figured out!

Here are a few pictures of him!

Can Life Get Any Crazier!

When I started my maternity leave a week ago I thought of how I would get to relax, spend some quality time with Kennedy and get some last minute things done around the house! HA! Who was I kidding? My first day off Kennedy had a stomach virus that we later learned seemed to be something called hand, foot, and mouth disease, which is just a common viral infection. We quickly got over that, enjoyed a few great days and then she developed a lovely cold/cough! Now I have a mystery illness which has left me bedridden and miserable! My doctor is not sure if I caught the same thing K had or I could possibly have mono, he did several blood tests, but won't get results until after the baby is born! So I am feeling a little better today and hoping that by tomorrow I can hopefully resume some last minute activities I'd like to get done! I would like some new plants planted in my front yard, my car washed, all of our laundry done, watch Kennedy ride her new bike, etc.

Wish me luck, I only have 2 more full days to get anything done!

Just wanted to share some pictures that we had taken.
Most are really good although a few are less than flattering,
overall I am very happy with them.
Now we just have to decide which ones to order!

Well I am currently 37 weeks and counting! We are scheduled for a repeat c-section in nine days...Feb 26! Although as much as I love being pregnant, I think that I have entered the miserable stage where I am glad it is almost over. I can no longer sleep at night (back and hip pain), I have to pee every 5-10 minutes, I can't bend over very well and at times I have so much pressure that I feel like he is going to fall out!

On the other hand, I am utterly terrified of having two children. I thought the terrible two's would end when Kennedy turned three and I honestly think it has gotten worse! She has a meltdown over the smallest issues and nothing seems to make her happy. At times I feel like I am honestly going to lose what little bit of sanity I have left!

I'm excited for her to have a sibling but also sad to see her 'only child' time come to an end. I know she will be a fabulous big sister though and I can't wait for her to meet him!!!
